A named level, not a guess
Placement interview plus a written diagnostic puts your child on a CEFR level with a written entry and exit standard.
A lesson plan you can read
Every unit has objectives, target language, model sentences, an assessment task and homework. Nothing is improvised.
Speaking that survives pressure
Students must instruct, correct and explain in English while tired, rushed and interrupted — the reason fluency sticks.
A report at the end of each level
Scored against CEFR descriptors, with recorded exit tasks kept in the student portfolio.
Where does my child start?
Find the description that sounds like your child. The right-hand column is what they will be able to do by the end of that level.
Complete beginner or nervous speaker.
Runs a three-minute warm-up in English and describes their training week.
Knows words, freezes in conversation.

How enrolment works

Read the taster
Scope, sequence and five full lessons — all public. Decide whether the method fits your child.

Placement conversation
A short interview and written diagnostic, in person in Cebu or online, to fix the starting level.

Deposit and access code
A 25% deposit secures the place. You receive an access code that unlocks all 60 unit plans, the CEFR rubrics and the teacher notes.

Study, score, report
Scored task each unit, tutorial support after two consecutive fails, written CEFR report at the end of each level.
Questions parents ask first
Does my child need to be a good tennis player?
No. The court is the classroom, not a trial. Beginners are welcome; every drill is scaled to the student in front of us.
How much English is actually taught?
Each unit begins with an explicit classroom lesson on the target grammar and functions, then the same language is rehearsed on court and produced under pressure. Roughly half classroom, half court.
Is the teaching British?
Yes. The school is British-run and directed by James Corden-Lloyd (TEFL, PTR), with a Cebu campus open 365 days a year and summer camps at Oxford and Sussex.
How do we know the level is real?
Placement is by interview plus a written diagnostic. Every unit ends in a scored task marked against the CEFR rubric, and a written report is issued at the end of each level.
What do we get before we pay anything?
The complete scope and sequence of all 60 units is public, and one full lesson per level — objectives, model language, on-court stages, assessment — is free to read.
What happens after the deposit?
You receive an access code that unlocks every unit plan, the CEFR band rubrics and the teacher delivery notes, so you can see exactly what is taught each week.
