Coach agency terms.
These are the working terms for coaches and partner academies who receive client introductions from Topball. They exist to keep quality high, payment protected and the relationship clean on both sides.
1. Introduction and agency
Topball CIC acts as the introducing agent. Where Topball introduces a client to a coach or partner academy, that client is a Topball-introduced client for the duration of the coaching relationship and for 24 months after the final session.
2. Payment flow
The client pays Topball. Topball settles with the coach or academy at the agreed rate, normally within 7 days of the sessions being delivered. Coaches must not invoice or accept payment directly from a Topball-introduced client.
3. No side arrangements — including cold-market referrals
Coaches must not offer, agree or accept private off-platform bookings with a Topball-introduced client, family member of that client, or any referral originating from that client, without written agreement from Topball. This includes cold-market contacts who first hear about the coach through Topball's website, social posts, referral links or branded materials.
4. Packaged lesson blocks
Once a client is happy with a matched coach, Topball may offer packaged lesson blocks at a preferential rate. These packages are sold, invoiced and settled through Topball. Coaches deliver the sessions at the agreed package rate and are paid by Topball as each block is completed or according to the agreed schedule.
5. Commission
Topball retains an introduction and administration margin on each booking, set by the published rate card below. Coaches pay no joining fee and no subscription. Final per-session and package rates are confirmed in writing per coach and per city before the first session.
6. Standards
Coaches teach to Topball methods and, where relevant, use Topball manuals and English-through-sport principles. Coaches hold their own valid coaching qualification, insurance and any local safeguarding or background clearance required in their city.
7. Cancellations and reliability
Sessions cancelled by a coach must be rescheduled or refunded via Topball. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows will end the agency arrangement.
8. Camps and academy placements
The same terms apply to camp-season academy referrals, including placements with Topball's sister academy/school in Paris. The family books through Topball; Topball settles with the receiving academy.
9. Confidentiality and data
Client contact details shared by Topball are used solely to deliver the agreed sessions and are not passed to third parties or used for marketing.
10. Ending the arrangement
Either side may end the arrangement with 30 days' written notice. Sessions already booked are honoured and settled through Topball. The no-direct-dealing obligation continues for any Topball-introduced client for 24 months after the final session.
Topball agency margin.
Topball is a Community Interest Company. Coaches pay nothing to join — no subscription, no listing fee. Topball's margin is taken only when a booking is actually delivered, and it reduces as the commitment grows.
Single sessions
One-off or ad-hoc lessons booked through Topball, including trial sessions.
Packaged lesson blocks
Blocks of 5, 10 or 20 lessons sold and invoiced by Topball once the client is happy with the matched coach.
Camp & academy placements
Camp-season referrals and placements with partner academies, including the Paris sister academy.
Club & school contracts
Ongoing term-time contracts where the club or school pays Topball on a recurring basis.
- • Margin is calculated on the session or package fee, before any court hire, travel or facility charges, which are passed through at cost.
- • Payment terms: client pays Topball; Topball settles the coach share normally within 7 days of delivery.
- • Currency: quoted in USD, GBP or PHP depending on city; conversion at the rate on the invoice date.
- • Long-standing coaches who consistently convert clients into packaged blocks may be offered a reduced margin by written agreement.
